Naniwa Camera

Naniwa is easily the best film camera store in Kyoto in terms of selection (and a fair amount of digital as well). Walls and cases stuffed with decades of gear, covering most any popular camera brand/system/format. Everything is very appropriately priced, so don’t expect any bargains, but know that you’re getting tested, inspected gear which is always worth a little extra for peace of mind. They also offer repair services and film development, but I prefer Photolabo Hibi for the latter.

Located downtown on Shijo street, theres plenty more shopping to follow up with before getting a snack at Nishiki Market.
